Maryam Ali Berri, M.D.
Dr. Maryam Ali Berri received her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in Florida. Dr. Berri completed her fellowship training in Spinal Cord Injury at the University of Michigan. She completed her residency in the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department at Beaumont Hospital through Wayne State University.
Jessica Jean Hurlston, Psy.D.
Dr. Hurlston works as a Psychologist and Corporate Counselor at Special Tree Rehabilitation System’s NeuroCare Center. She received her Master’s and Doctorate degrees from the University of Indianapolis, and completed a doctoral internship at Appalachian State University where she specialized in eating disorders, multicultural counseling, and supervision/training.
Ari Kriswari, MD
Dr. Ari Kriswari completed her PM&R residency at Beaumont Hospital and performed her Fellowship at Kobe University School of Medicine located in Kobe, Japan. Dr. Kriswari graduated from the Universite Hassan Li Ain Chockcasablanca in 2009. Dr. Kriswari works in Ypsilanti, Michigan and two other locations and specializes in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Dr. Kriswari is affiliated with St Joseph Mercy Ypsilanti and Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Corina Lazar, M.D.
Dr. Corina Lazar completed her residency at Wayne State University and completed the School of Medicine Residency Program in Psychiatry. She received her medical degree at the University of Medicine in Timisoara Romania. Dr. Lazar speaks four languages (English, Spanish, French and Romanian).
Kelly Long, MS
Kelly Long earned her Physician Assistant degree from The University of Detroit Mercy in 1999. She started her career at Special Tree in Dr. Richert’s family practice after graduation and transitioned to full time at Special Tree when Dr. Richert retired from family practice in 2003. She specializes in developing and implementing patient treatment plans for our medically complex TBI and SCI patient population including intrathecal baclofen spasticity management.
Riley Smith, M.D.
Dr. Smith completed his residency at Wayne State University in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Beaumont Hospital where he also completed his Fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine. He received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
